Craggs Environmental are SafeContractor Approved and SafePQQ Verified
Here’s what our Operations Director, Jeremy Cosway had to say;
“Gaining the Alcumus SafeContractor Accreditation and SafePQQ Verification has allowed us to take our safe working practices to the next level. We have an excellent Health and Safety record and we like to promote this. Acquiring this standard will allow us to work on many sites where previously we didn’t have the chance to. We also know that working in these new environments will involve working alongside other like-minded contractors who share the same health and safety values. It provides us with peace of mind knowing that we’re working compliantly and in line with all current regulations. It should also show our team our dedication to raising and continuously improving health and safety standards.”
So what does Safe Contractor mean?
Alcumus SafeContractor is a third-party accreditation scheme that assesses the health and safety arrangements, policies and qualifications of contractors. Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the SafeContractor certificate as confirmation of competency in health and safety practice. The Safe Contractor Accreditation will allow us to access and work on sites that we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to access before.
SafePQQ is an extension of the SafeContractor health and safety contractor management system and aligns to the requirements of PAS91. Going beyond health and safety, SafePQQ demonstrates that Craggs Environmental is a safe, ethical and sustainable company and confirms our commitment to corporate social responsibility, minimising environmental impact, quality, financial stability and data protection.
What does this mean for you our clients?
By being SafePQQ verified and Safe Contractor Approved, it gives you peace of mind that we are a safe company to use. We are incredibly proud of our Health and Safety as well as our record. By signing up to Safe Contractor we’re committed to improving our standards.
